The Frome Partnership of schools is one of a number of groups of professionals
working together to develop services in Frome. Other key groups which FCLP

The Local Service delivery Team
The LSD is made up of a wide range of community professionals managed and coordinated by the East Mendip locality manager. The locality manager has two teams to support one here in Frome and the other in Shepton Mallet. The team all work with young people and includes emotional health workers, the key Centre managers, educational attendance officer, the Parent and Family support workers, Connexions, the Youth service and an administration support team. Frome Inclusion Partnership
FIP is made up of a range of professionals, mostly team leaders who work in Frome. They include:

The group meet three times a year to discuss shared issues and create a strategic overview of Frome’s support to young people and their families. The Partnership is currently chaired by the LSD manager and the head teacher/manager of the Key Centre. Flowing from this group is the themes group which meet regularly, mainly made of team members to create direct action and change.
Young People Frome
Young people Frome are supported by the town council to represent and encourage youth citizenship in Frome. YPF created the Frome active Web site creating information for Young people in Frome about activities all through the year. Young People Frome also established the Youth Council which is now being developed to draw representation from the school councils. The aim is that this group sits alongside FIP and FCLP to provide a creative, critical and directive voice from young people.
Somerset Head Teachers meetings
All the head teachers are also part of wider educational groups in Somerset. These include An area heads meeting, a primary schools, Middle schools and College Heads meetings.
